PREDIS.AI ALTERNATIVE

A Predis.ai alternative for people who don't want to open the tool.
$14.99, no credit meter.

Predis.ai is a genuinely good AI creative studio — carousels, product creatives, UGC-style video, brand kits, templates you can import. PostOtter is not a studio, it is a social media manager: it decides what to post, writes it, makes the image or video, schedules it, and publishes 21 posts a week to Instagram, TikTok, and X without you opening anything.

Both products generate content with AI, so they get compared constantly, but they are built around opposite assumptions. Predis assumes you will sit down and make something — it gives you formats, controls, and a canvas. PostOtter assumes you won't, and runs the week anyway. Which one is right depends entirely on whether the hour to sit down actually exists in your week.

Where PostOtter differs

Auto-posting isn't a tier you upgrade into

Predis's $19 Core plan schedules but doesn't auto-post; the cheapest Predis plan that publishes for you is Rise at $40/month. PostOtter publishes on its own from day one at $14.99.

No credits to ration

Predis meters output in credits — Core's 1,300/month works out to roughly 9 videos if you spend it all on video. PostOtter ships about 35 videos and 56 images a month with nothing to budget.

Nothing to prompt

Predis is prompt- and template-driven: you start each piece. PostOtter builds the week from your brand profile, so posts exist whether or not you had an idea.

Video every week, not as a credit splurge

Real 9:16 motion video goes out four days a week on both Instagram and TikTok. It's the default cadence, not a choice that eats the month's budget.

One price, one brand, no add-on maths

$14.99 covers Instagram, TikTok, and X together. Predis bills by plan, then adds $5/month per extra brand and $5–$99/month for extra channels.

Where Predis wins: creative control

Brand kits, imported templates, carousels, voiceovers, story ads, and element-level editing. If you want to shape each post, Predis gives you far more surface than we do.

PostOtter vs Predis.ai, side by side

The honest split: Predis is a studio with more formats and more control, PostOtter is an autopilot that costs less and needs no attention. The rows where Predis leads are marked as such.

A studio and an autopilot are not the same purchase

Predis.ai gives you a lot of ways to make something: static creatives, carousels, story ads, product-focused visuals, UGC-style and faceless video, voiceovers, multi-slide posts. It reads like a design department in a browser tab, and for someone who enjoys that work it genuinely is one.

PostOtter has a much narrower surface on purpose. There is one cadence — 21 posts a week, 7 each on Instagram, TikTok, and X, with real 9:16 video four days a week on the two video platforms — and it runs on a schedule rather than on your attention. You review drafts if you feel like it and skip the ones you don't want.

The useful question isn't which tool can do more. It's what happens in a week where you never log in. With a studio, nothing was made. That is not a flaw in the studio; it's the definition of one.

The credit ceiling is the part people miss

Predis meters everything through a shared credit pool. Core is 1,300 credits a month, which Predis estimates at about 86 AI images or 9 videos. Rise is 3,200 credits, roughly 213 images or 22 videos. Those are either/or figures — captions, images, and video all draw from the same balance, so a month heavy on video is a month light on everything else.

That matters most for short-form. Instagram Reels and TikTok are video-first surfaces, and a posting habit that only survives nine videos a month isn't really a video habit. Running out mid-month means either buying credits at $29/month or going quiet.

PostOtter has no meter. The week is fixed at 21 posts, roughly 8 of them video, and that is what arrives whether it's the 3rd of the month or the 28th.

What you give up: control and formats

This is the row where Predis is simply better, and pretending otherwise would be useless to you. Predis lets you set brand colors, tone, and logo once and apply them everywhere, import your own designs and templates, and edit individual elements of a generated post. PostOtter does not have a canvas at all.

Predis also makes carousels, and PostOtter does not make carousels of any kind. If educational multi-slide content is central to your strategy — the '5 mistakes killing your conversion rate' format — that's a real gap on our side, not a stylistic difference.

What PostOtter does offer is a Post Style setting: upload up to ten posts you've already published and liked the look of, and it reads their colour, light, framing, and mood and generates new posts to match. Different subjects, same feel. It's less control than a canvas, but it's the difference between output that looks like your account and output that looks like a stock library.

Platform coverage, honestly

Predis publishes to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and more, with 10 social accounts on Core and 20 on Rise. PostOtter publishes to Instagram, TikTok, and X only, for one brand.

If LinkedIn is where your customers are, or you're running several client accounts, Predis covers ground we don't and the comparison ends there. We picked three platforms because they're the ones that reward posting every single day with short-form content, which is the specific habit PostOtter exists to keep alive.

For an agency managing multiple brands, Predis's Rise tier at four brands is straightforwardly the better tool. PostOtter is built for one business posting for itself.

The price comparison at the plan you'd actually buy

Compared at sticker price the gap looks small: $14.99 against $19. Compared at the plan that does what most people came for — content that publishes itself — it's $14.99 against $40, because auto-posting starts on Predis's Rise tier.

Neither product has a permanently free plan. Predis offers a 7-day trial; PostOtter's first week is free and doesn't ask for a card, which means you can watch a full week of generated posts land before deciding anything.

A week is the right unit for judging either of these. A single generated post tells you very little; seven days of them tells you whether the voice holds up and whether the visuals look like your brand or like everyone else's.

Predis.ai alternative FAQ

Is PostOtter cheaper than Predis.ai?

Yes at every tier. Predis Core is $19/month and PostOtter is $14.99/month — but Core doesn't include auto-posting, so the fair comparison is against Predis Rise at $40/month, which does. PostOtter has one plan and no add-ons.

Does Predis.ai post automatically?

On the Rise plan ($40/month) and above, yes. The entry-level Core plan ($19/month) includes scheduling but not auto-posting, so you're still the one pressing publish.

Does PostOtter make carousels like Predis?

No. PostOtter generates single images and 9:16 video only. Predis makes carousels, story ads, multi-slide posts, and voiceover video — if multi-slide content is core to your strategy, Predis is the better fit.

How much video does each one produce?

PostOtter produces real 9:16 video four days a week on both Instagram and TikTok — roughly 35 videos a month, with no limit to manage. Predis meters video through credits: Core's 1,300 credits work out to about 9 videos a month and Rise's 3,200 to about 22, and only if you spend the entire balance on video.

Can I control how PostOtter's posts look?

To a point. Every post is a draft you can rewrite, re-image, or skip, and you can upload up to ten of your own published posts under Post Style so new visuals match their colour, light, framing, and mood. There's no design canvas or template import — that's Predis's strength, not ours.

Which one should an agency use?

Predis. Its Rise plan covers four brands and 20 social accounts, with extra brands at $5/month. PostOtter is one plan for one brand and isn't built for managing client accounts.

Can PostOtter post to LinkedIn or Facebook?

No. PostOtter publishes to Instagram, TikTok, and X only. Predis covers Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest as well, and is the better choice if those matter to you.
