◆ LOOMLY PRICING
Loomly is built around collaboration: shared calendars, approval workflows and roles. Its pricing reflects that. There are two published plans and an Enterprise tier, and the step from the first to the second is large enough that most buyers should decide early which side of it they are on.
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49per month, billed yearly | $65 billed monthly. 3 users, 12 social accounts, unlimited scheduling, approval workflows, analytics, AI assistant, inbox. |
| Beyond | $249per month, billed yearly | $332 billed monthly. Unlimited users, 60 social accounts, custom branding, custom roles and workflows, more AI and listening. |
| Enterprise | Quotecontact sales | 61 or more social accounts, priority support, pricing at scale. |

Loomly publishes two self-serve plans, Starter and Beyond, plus an Enterprise tier priced on request. Each plan sets three limits at once: how many people can log in, how many social accounts you can connect, and how much of the AI and listening features you can use.
Starter is $49 a month billed yearly, or $65 billed monthly. Beyond is $249 a month billed yearly, or $332 monthly. That is a $200 step on annual billing and a $267 step on monthly billing, with nothing in between.
The gap is the single most important thing to understand about Loomly pricing. If you outgrow Starter by one user or one account, the next option is five times the price.
Starter covers 3 users and 12 social accounts with unlimited calendars and unlimited scheduling. It includes approval workflows and roles, analytics, an AI assistant with a limited monthly allowance, two social listening searches a month, and an inbox for replying to comments and interactions, with saved replies and conversation assignment.
It also covers the everyday publishing features: direct publishing, recurring posts, bulk posting and link shorteners. For a small business or a small in-house team with up to three people, it is a complete tool.
Twelve accounts is enough for three or four brands on three platforms each, which makes Starter workable for a very small agency, as long as nobody else needs a login.
Beyond removes the user limit, raises the account limit to 60, and adds custom branding, custom roles and workflows, enforced two-factor authentication on calendars, an extended AI allowance and five social listening searches a month.
The upgrade makes sense in two situations: a fourth person needs to log in, or you manage more than 12 accounts. Both are common in agencies, and both happen suddenly, which is why it pays to count users and accounts before signing up for a year of Starter.
If neither applies, Beyond's extras are hard to justify for a single business. Starter already has approvals, analytics and the inbox.
A worked example: an agency with five clients, each on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, needs fifteen accounts. That is three over Starter's twelve, so the agency pays Beyond's $249 a month on annual billing, not $49. Dropping one platform for one client would not be enough; it has to fit under twelve accounts and three people to stay on Starter.
Divided out on annual billing, Starter works out at about $16 per user for three users, or about $4 per connected account if you use all twelve. Beyond is about $4.15 per account at sixty accounts, with unlimited users on top.
That per-account rate is close to Buffer's $5 per channel on Essentials, but Loomly includes approvals, analytics and an inbox in it. The comparison changes for a solo user with three accounts: Loomly's $49 is then much more than Buffer's $15, because you are paying for collaboration features you will not use.
Three terms are worth knowing before you pay. First, annual plans cannot be terminated early, so a yearly Starter plan is a $588 commitment, and Beyond is $2,988. Second, the free trial needs no credit card, but the pricing page does not say how long it lasts, so check when you sign up. Third, Loomly offers nonprofits a 50% lifetime discount on proof of status.
Some reviews mention a Loomly free plan that can be selected from the billing settings inside the app. The public pricing page does not list one, so do not plan around it until you have seen it in your own account.
Set against the rest of the category, Loomly sits in the middle. Using each vendor's published entry price: Buffer's Essentials is $5 per channel a month, so three channels is $15. Later's Starter is $18.75 a month for one social set of up to eight profiles. Metricool's Starter is $20 a month billed yearly for up to five brands. Loomly's Starter is $49 a month billed yearly for three users and twelve accounts. Hootsuite starts at $99 per user a month and Sprout Social at $79 per seat.
The pattern is that Loomly costs more than the publishing-first tools and much less than the per-seat suites, and what you pay the difference for is the team workflow: roles, approvals and a shared inbox for three people at a flat price. If you would use those, Loomly is fairly priced. If you would not, the cheaper tools above publish the same posts.
For a team that needs several people to draft, review and approve posts before they go out, yes. Loomly's strength is the workflow around a post, and Starter delivers that at a reasonable price for up to three people.
For one person who just needs posts to go out, it is more tool than the job needs. And like every scheduler, it assumes the posts already exist. Loomly organises, approves and publishes content; making the photos and videos is still your job.
A quick way to decide: if you can name the person who approves each post, Loomly's workflow features will earn their keep. If the approver and the author are the same person, a simpler and cheaper tool will do.
Loomly is a collaboration and publishing tool for content your team creates. PostOtter creates the content and publishes it.

◆ A CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE
Loomly is a strong choice when several people need to review and approve posts. If the real problem is that nothing gets made, PostOtter writes the captions, generates on-brand images and real 9:16 video from your website, and publishes to Instagram, TikTok and X for $14.99 a month. You stay in control: every post can be edited before it goes out, and you can use PostOtter as a plain scheduler for your own posts. Loomly still wins on team workflows, the inbox and network coverage.
◆ MADE BY POSTOTTER, FOR POSTOTTER
Same brand, three different posts. Instagram and TikTok share the render; the captions don't. Each one is written native to the platform it's on, and the hashtags are weighted the way that platform's discovery actually works. That is why Instagram gets ten and X gets two.
Here is the plain version of what PostOtter does. 1) You drop in your website URL. PostOtter reads it to learn your brand voice, what you sell, and how you talk. 2) You connect your accounts. Instagram, TikTok, and X. That is it.

That is not help. PostOtter learns your brand voice from your website, then creates, schedules, and publishes a post every day to X, Instagram, and TikTok.

You open a scheduler and it just stares back, waiting for a caption you don't have. So you post nothing. Again. PostOtter isn't a scheduler—it creates, schedules, and publishes daily to X/IG/TikTok (images + real Reels/TikTok video). Try it today.
#smallbusinessowner#PostOtterSee it on Xwe didn't lift a finger: no captions written, no hashtags picked, no content made, no times set, nothing published by hand
but every one of them was ours to change first: rewrite the caption, swap the hashtags, upload your own photo or video, move it to another day. and so is every post you get.
Starter is $49 a month billed yearly or $65 billed monthly. Beyond is $249 a month billed yearly or $332 monthly. Enterprise is priced on request.
The public pricing page lists a free trial with no credit card, not a free plan. Some reviews describe a free plan selectable inside the app's billing settings; check your own account before relying on it.

No. Loomly's pricing page states that yearly plans cannot be terminated early, so choose monthly billing if you are not sure.
For one person publishing to a few accounts, Buffer's per-channel plan is cheaper. If you need the posts made rather than approved, PostOtter generates captions, images and video and publishes them to Instagram, TikTok and X for $14.99 a month per brand.
Yes. Every post PostOtter generates waits in the queue, where you can edit, reschedule or delete it. You can also schedule posts you made yourself.
